This Privacy Policy describes how PhotoEvolve ("we", "our app") collects, uses, and protects user information.

1. Information we collect

• Account: email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider, Supabase).
• Photos: the photos you choose to import or analyze in the app, including technical metadata (EXIF) such as ISO, shutter speed, aperture, and camera model.
• Usage data: generated scores, earned badges, level, and analysis history, associated with your account.
• Payment data: if you subscribe to a paid plan, processing is handled entirely by the app store (Google Play or App Store) via RevenueCat. We do not store your credit card data on our servers.

2. How we use your information

• To generate the technical analysis (Hardware Score) and the AI analysis (Photographer Score) of your photos.
• To maintain your history, ranking, levels, and badges within the app.
• To process your subscription, when applicable.
• To provide support when you contact us.

3. Sharing with third parties

We use the following service providers, which process data on our behalf:

• Supabase: database hosting, authentication, and photo storage.
• Anthropic (Claude): when you use AI analysis (Photographer Score or Compare Photos), a resized copy of the photo is sent to the Anthropic API to generate the evaluation. Anthropic processes that image according to its own privacy policy.
• RevenueCat: management of subscriptions and purchases made via Google Play or App Store.

We do not sell your personal information or your photos to third parties.

4. Storage and retention

Your photos and account data are kept while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To do so, contact us.

6. Children

PhotoEvolve is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children in that age range.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated within the app.
